The Clonmel show
I am going to exhibit my prints and some original paintings at a few summer fairs and agricultural shows, starting with the 'Clonmel show' on Sunday 3rd July at the Powerstown Park Racecourse, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. I will have all the prints on display at special discounted prices for the day of the show.
I have published two new limited edition prints, one is a landscape featuring the weir on the river Suir near the ruined abbey at Athassel , County Tipperary. Its a beautiful place to paint, while I was there I saw Kingfishers and an Otter and much more. From there you can walk along a good stretch of the river up to the ruined abbey and I am working on another painting now of the river at a ford by the abbey itself where the tall trees reflect deep into the water. The other print is of the painting of the Male sparrow and fledgling that I put on an earlier post. I often see the male sparrows that come to my garden fetch seed from the table to feed to their fledglings that wait in the nearby brambles.
