This is a scene of Fallow Deer crossing a stream and my original oil painting was inspired by watching the Deer crossing to a river island in the river Avonmore in county Wicklow , Ireland. At this point the beautiful river went through woodland and fields in the Vale of Clara. The graceful Deer were quite unaware of me sitting quietly on the far bank sketching.
