'Scattered with light' Painting the Beauty of Nature
I have collected together as much as possible of my work that I have painted since moving to Ireland in 2001, as I wanted to share my artist's view of this beautiful land that I have come to love and call my home. In over 100 pages I have included notes, sketches and some step by step photographs to give an insight into how the work was created. This book is ideal for lovers of nature, the Irish landscape and art, plus an invaluable aid to aspiring artists.
It includes chapters on Landscapes, Seascapes, Country scenes & Horses, Wildlife and at the end my artist's sketchbook of birds and animals. This is an A4 size paperback book packed with full colour images and written in easy to read print.
This is not a beginners instruction manual, or the only way to paint, it is just my way of painting and I hope by passing on my thoughts and techniques I can give confidence to aspiring artists to experiment in their own original paintings and encourage a greater appreciation of realist art in the modern world. My work is very much a celebration of the beauty of nature, so I hope that it will inspire people to go out and paint, photograph, enjoy, appreciate and protect the beautiful places we are fortunate to still have.

Limited Edition
Fine Art Prints
I publish some of my paintings as limited edition prints using museum quality paper and finest pigment inks to produce a perfect colour match with the original and ensure longevity. Each edition is usually limited to 100 prints and each is signed by myself as the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by the artist and the printer making the prints highly collectable.
